Alicia is the mom of a three year old son and knows firsthand how challenging it can be to find good child care. After struggling to find babysitters she found SeekingSitters and opened a franchise in Oklahoma City to provide quality child care to other parents.

Alicia and Scott both had backgrounds in sales and service so a SeekingSitters franchise was a perfect fit for both of them, but how the couple stumbled upon SeekingSitters in the first place was even more of an amazing fit.

Alicia’s and Scott's families are from the Oklahoma City area but they still struggled with the issue of finding a sitter for their own son. In 2005, the full time stay at home mom Alicia Champion was having difficulty in finding a reliable babysitter due to limited help from family so the couple often missed important meetings, parties, and adult time. A Christmas party was even missed when their babysitter called in sick two hours before the party began. After trying to track down friends or family to come to their rescue, Scott gave up and headed to the grocery store for a late night snack when he saw a maid service company car and thought that is exactly what we should start, a babysitting service! With excitement in his eyes and ice cream in hand he raced home and told Alicia all about the idea while she was still stuck at home without a babysitter. Alicia didn't know what to think about Scott's idea until literally 72 hours later an article landed in the business section of their local newspaper about a young couple who had started SeekingSitters out of Tulsa Oklahoma and was looking to franchise in Oklahoma City. Within a week Alicia and Scott signed up as members, used the service, and inquired about a franchise oppor-tunity. In June 2006 they purchased the very first franchise and they have been a key part in the growth of the SeekingSitters Franchise System ever since!

Membership

One time membership fee: $59.99. Your one-time membership fee is valid at all SeekingSitters locations.
Pay Per Request: $15.00 per event
Month-to-Month Subscription: $30.00 per month
Annual Subscription, Billed Monthly: $14.00 per month

A destination charge of $10.00 per event applies for families in the extended driving area, paid directly to your sitter. This is not a mileage compensation.
