Due to more stringent tax rules and regulations from the IRS we are working to protect you by handling all taxes for sitters referred through our service. Your hourly rate will not be increased for this added service; however, you will now see a line item on your bill that will reflect LTI (Labor, Tax and Insurance) and all employment taxes will be handled through SeekingSitters. This process is only effective in this location.

The average LTI fee on a 4 hour 2 children event is between $5 and $8. 

What this means for you: You will have more efficient reporting through SeekingSitters with yearend tax deductions for babysitting expenses. All sitters will be employed through the SeekingSitters Kansas City franchise helping to alleviate any yearend tax burden that you may have when a sitter works for your family.
